The chief executive, a very avuncular capitalist, seemed genuinely disappointed Prudence had not decided to stay.
"Sorry J," Prudence smiled, "I don't fit in."
"I'm a socialist, and I should hate you. But I don't."
To his credit, he chuckled and said he understood.
